As your specialist for pressing technology , our aim is to support winegrowers with the best grape press in the world for processing their wines and sparkling wines. Our patented double membrane technology and the upright juice channels form a unique pressing system for this purpose, which enables results of the highest quality and economic efficiency through the particularly gentle handling of your valuable grapes. "Optimum must yield in premium quality" - your work in the vineyard must be worthwhile!
According to the motto "A chain is only as strong as its weakest link", we now also offer you grape processing systems that ensure the same gentle and efficient handling of your grapes in the upstream processes. This means that the goal of "optimum must yield in premium quality" and the equipment for your press house can be realized from a single source - all products are Made in Germany.
The unloading hoppers have a large opening, which is ideal for loading boxes or similar standard containers.
The hoppers with vibratory discharge have a pre-juicing zone, where free juice is collected directly and no drops are lost.
The vibratory conveying of the unloading hoppers ensures even filling of the downstream systems, such as a sorting table or a destemmer. Unlike with a screw conveyor, the grapes are not mechanically stressed or crushed, but instead bounce on to the next station.
There are both fixed and hydraulically adjustable hoppers, whereby the filling speed can be regulated with the discharge angle.
The hoppers are easy to clean thanks to the hinged collecting trays.
We offer grape and mash pumps as well as conveyor belts in various designs for transporting and processing the grapes. The grape and mash pumps, which vary in the size of their hoppers, can convey between 2 and 100 tons of grapes per hour. Safe operation is ensured by dry and overflow protection. This measures the current fill level using an ultrasonic probe. The advantage of this technology is that even dry mash is detected by the built-in probe.
If the grapes are to be crushed before being fed into the press, there are several options for integrating a crusher into the system. The crushers can stand alone or be installed on the vibrating conveyor tables and conveyor belts. If crushers are installed, crushing of the grapes can still be suspended if required without the need for time-consuming dismantling. Depending on the product, the crusher can be swung away or covered. It is also possible to align the rollers in the opposite direction, allowing the grapes to run past the crusher.
The conveyor belts are available in various lengths. Depending on the speed, 2 to 25 tons per hour can be transported. All conveyor belts are hydraulically height-adjustable.
The ROTOVIB vibrating destemmer ensures particularly gentle and careful handling of the grapes.
For destemming, the destemming fingers and the grape-friendly plastic basket rotate in the same direction to prevent any crushing. The patented vibration technology causes the destemmer fingers to vibrate, which makes it easier to detach the grapes and therefore contributes significantly to particularly gentle processing of the grapes. Thanks to the frequency inverter, the speed can be easily adjusted by the user to the respective requirements of the grape varieties.
After coarse foreign bodies have been removed, the loosened grapes first fall onto the first of the two downstream roller sorters and then onto the second roller sorter, which is equipped with finer spacing to remove finer foreign bodies such as insects or leather berries. The running speed of both roller sorters can be controlled independently of each other.
The result: maximum yield with the gentlest possible processing.
ROTOVIB is also designed for particularly quick and easy cleaning. For cleaning, the cladding parts can simply be opened and the roller sorters pulled out, similar to a drawer. All without the use of tools. Thanks to the robust and high-quality materials, the machine can be completely foamed and hosed down.
These vibrating conveyors are perfect for manual pre- or post-sorting of grapes.
The high-quality sorting tables have drip slots and a tray for collecting free juice as well as dry plant residue.
The vibration speed of the vibratory conveyors can be controlled as required thanks to the built-in frequency converters.
The vibratory conveyors are available in various lengths and running angles. It is also possible to choose a version with a mounted hopper for filling or a tilting device for emptying crates.
The average capacity is 5 tons per hour.
Various lengths and designs available.
GRAPESORT offers the option of fully automatic, optical grape sorting. The grapes are evenly accelerated by the conveyor belt after filling and transported in flight into the heart of the sorting machine.
The grapes are scanned by camera at up to 18,000 images per second and sorted according to the preset parameters. The sorting settings are made via a large touchscreen, where the desired color of the grapes can be selected as a sorting criterion. The additional inspection with NIR (near-infrared) also enables the sorting machine to sort out berries that are the same color but dried out, or even to sort the berries according to Oechsle grade.
The defective berries are "ejected" with pinpoint accuracy using a blast of air from 128 valves. Camera detection and sorting take place in flight, as only the individual grapes are detected.
