SPHERA wine press from WiLLMES

SPHERA - the ball press, without corners and edges, with the possibility of pressing grapes statically, without rotation, i.e. without additional mechanical stress.

360° pressing technology

The green arrows show the effect of mash filtration when the must flows through the 360° pressing in the center of the inner juice channel of the press into the juice bowl.

Equipment details

The juice tray also serves as a pomace tray after pressing. The juice collection area provides a large area for red must and a juice cover when pressing white wine. The tub is removed with a forklift truck and no manual intervention is required.

A large hopper is optionally available for filling the baler with boxes using a forklift truck. This is mounted on the baler and is lifted pneumatically after filling so that the pressing process can begin immediately.

360-degree special diaphragm design enables high pressing quality. The 360° membrane maximizes the pressing surface. This enables juice extraction with low pressure and low solids content. A large proportion of the juice is extracted without rotation.

The SPHERA at a glance

360° pressing technology

After filling via the door, without manual distribution of the grapes, the new 360° membrane presses the grapes evenly from the outside inwards to the central, flexible juice channel.

The result is the purest musts, which are automatically pressed to the desired degree with SPHERA.

Maximum flexibility for all requirements

After pressing, only a round container with a comprehensive membrane needs to be cleaned.

From the available model sizes with a capacity of 1,000 and 2,000 liters, the right requirement can be met for any high-quality white or red wine processing.
