With over 100 top-class winegrowers from Germany, Italy, Austria, France and Switzerland as well as many interested visitors, the event was very well attended. The opening speech was held by the Minister for Rural Areas and Consumer Protection of Baden Württemberg, Mr. MDL Peter Hauck himself.
Many exciting specialist presentations on the subject of Pinot Blanc were met with great interest by the winegrowers and formed a worthy foundation for the event organized by the Pinot Blanc Charter. Of course, the subsequent tasting of the Pinot Blancs from the individual winegrowers was another highlight. Some "aha" moments were created and many experiences were exchanged. The contribution that WILLMES can make to a good Pinot Blanc was perfectly demonstrated by the SIGMA 3 press that we presented. Vertical juice channels, fast pressing and cleaning times, minimal lees, gentle pressing thanks to the double membrane - this is the way to create a new top Pinot Blanc!
This was also the opinion of the visitors to our stand, and we would like to thank them for their visit. Some even made use of our roadshow offer, where we will be demonstrating the advantages of our pressing technology on site with their own grapes at harvest time.
